💼 Job Description
The internship shall last between 2 months (June & July) during which the Visiting Analyst will gain insights into the way startups operate while understanding the decision-making process behind VC investments. The Visiting Analyst will be exposed to the exciting and challenging work of Venture Capital and will have autonomy over his/her own projects.
Key responsibilities will include (and are not limited to):
- Conduct market research and perform deep dives into specific segments to identify new investment trends and opportunities;
- Support the investment team with deal flow and perform due diligence, including analyzing information from industry & technology experts, customers, and competition;
- Prepare presentation materials related to current and new opportunities;
- Help maintain the company’s database and work on ad-hoc internal projects;
- Work on initiatives that will further strengthen Semapa Next’s network and community.
💻 Qualifications / Profile
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Business Management, Finance, Engineering);
- Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work autonomously;
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
- Passionate about new technology, emerging business models, and the startup ecosystem;
- Practical work experience in the startup ecosystem is preferred.
