What you will be doing
Operational Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and decision-making, through process redesign and automation.
Build and maintain AI-enabled workflows and automations.
Integrate and optimize tools across CRM, reporting, and productivity platforms.
Evaluate and implement new AI tools and agents.
Document processes and establish best practices for system ownership.
Data & Reporting Infrastructure
Own operational data infrastructure
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses on portfolio and internal operational performance
Support pipeline tracking and investment team workflows
Support portfolio monitoring insights and decision-making
Establish scalable reporting processes as the portfolio grows
Operations & Special Projects
Lead operational initiatives that improve scalability and efficiency.
Support ad hoc projects, from launching recruiting processes to evaluating new software tools.
Create executive-ready analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
Take ownership of high-priority projects from problem definition through execution.
Support cross-functional projects with Semapa Group and its portfolio companies
What a great Operations Associate will have
2–5 years of management consulting, operations, product management or relevant experience.
Experience with AI tools, AI agents, and workflow automations.
Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to create and express an opinion.
Strong execution skills: Self-directed, able to handle tasks until completion with thought, care, and attention to detail. Always ready to roll up sleeves.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills with an ability to develop and maintain high-quality relationships
Proficiency with productivity and relationship management tools (Slack, Affinity, XLS/GSheets, etc.)
Builder mindset with a passion for improving processes and systems.
